This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to Credit Karma Support or TurboTax Support. Are you commenting in regard to the electronic deposit requirement to a Money Spend account as part of the $50 bonus offer from Credit Karma? It doesn't have to be a paycheck (salary). That's only one type of deposit the official terms mention. Did the complete offer terms you saw say that one of the following is a "qualifying direct deposit?" Another user posted this sentence:
"A Qualifying Direct Deposit is one electronic deposit of a regular periodic payment (such as salary, pension, Government Benefits, or other monthly income) made into your Credit Karma Money Spend account."
That user posted the rest of the terms in his comment at the link below.
NOTE: The following terms are for the offer for those who filed April 16-May 17 and have to have a qualifying electronic deposit by June 10.
Folks who filed prior to April 16 likely had different dates in the terms and a different deadline for the qualifying electronic deposit (likely May 10). (I don't have a link for it.)
