Here's another irritation (and suggestion) - you cannot file an extension electronically using turbotax. But if you use the free online link thru the IRS, it takes you to a turbotax web site where you can file an extension electronically! Turbotax is increasingly appearing to me to be run by people who just want to maximize their short term profits and not support their long time users.
