After you file
It's somewhat normal for tax year 2020. If your refund or amount due is different from your filed return, that means you were affected by some tax law changes that were enacted after you filed your original income tax return. You can print out your revised income tax return and compare it to your filed return to see what changed.
If the change is due to unemployment, don't amend your income tax return. The IRS will refigure your taxes and send any refund amount directly to you.
