After you file

I should’ve mentioned I also live in Texas, if that even matters. It’s a relief to hear my return could still be on it’s way. I wasn’t able to get my amended return or any benefits last year, with the COVID chaos it was impossible for any IRS employees to give me a solid answer as to why. It seemed to get lost in the madness, which is understandable since amended returns have to be filed by mail. It worries me, but hopefully it’ll all work out this year. Can’t imagine how much pressure IRS employees are under with such a heavy workload. Thank you for responding! Everyone I’ve spoken with got their return within 3 weeks or shortly after. I would be willing to pay through withholding or estimates if necessary.
