The IRS will send you a letter explaining what they did. You might not get the letter until a few weeks after you received the refund.
TurboTax gets no information from the IRS about adjustments to your return after it's filed. All that TurboTax does is transmit your tax return to the IRS. Once the return is accepted, TurboTax has no further involvement.
