how do you do this: make your returns look like the originally filed returns. That means adding the unemployment income that was excluded back in to your federal return in the Unemployment 1099G topic.
i clicked Add state to amend state only.. but the amount of refund showing for federal and sate are more than the original refund. i clicked amend to try to check the federal and it appears the unemployment is still the original amount on the federal but the refund is higher. so maybe its wrong? is there a step by step for amending MD state only for the unemployment?
