After you file

Before E-filing my return I had to declare my payment option. I completed instructions for direct debt from my bank acct. The bank accepted the debit for payment at a later date. Then the IRS notified me and TurboTax that they could not accept my e-file return. Turbo recommended that I file by mail, which I will do. BUT, do I send a check for taxes due as required in the mail-in instructions? Do I have to go back and cancel the direct debit option with my bank to avoid a double payment?
