The IRS is hard to contact, see this. The IRS number to call is 800-829-1040 -if you are feeling very lucky after reading the article I posted. If you get through, they will tell you to wait patiently. As long as your return says processing, you are fine. It is only if your return does not exist that you should be concerned.
