After you file
So, I did end up getting the stimulus after it was initially denied on my taxes, by contacting them, so that's all fine.
But, here's the sequence of events:
Filed taxes, claiming the missing stimulus.
Denied the missing stimulus, taxes processed, I have received the adjusted amount, minus the claimed stimulus.
Contacted them, received the missing stimulus separately.
Now the problem is that since I have received the stimulus, I can't just go and claim it on my amended return again. TurboTax's calculations for my new total payout are accurate, but it's subtracting the amount for that extra stimulus that was in the original calculations, on top of the amount I actually received.
But if I'm reading you right, TurboTax should get that updated figure soon? Worth noting that I did direct deposit into my own personal account, and didn't use their services as an intermediary for it.
