After you file

So if I'm expecting a paper check , and on the "get my refund tool" way ever thing , it tells me "Your tax refund is scheduled to be mailed by April 16" does that mean they'll mail the paper check out that day ? Or that I should recieve that paper check roughly.around that date ? ...lmk plz
