I am amending my amended return because I submitted it and it never showed the credit for the taxes I paid with my original return. On my first amended return form 1040X, it showed what I paid in on line 16, but did not carry it to line 17. There was also not any additional information on my amended return regarding income or deductions. The only line that had any information on it was line 16. If we can't figure out what is wrong, Would there be a problem if I mailed in the amended return since I e filed the original return, and my first amended return?
