I agree with Sooz.

Tax year 2019 had two 1099-R with identical amounts - one for me and one for my spouse.  No problems with e-Filing.

 

Tax year 2020 had two sets of 1099-R with identical amounts - one set from one payor and another set from a different payor.  Again, each set consisted of one for me and one for my spouse.  Clearly TurboTax knows that one of the duplicate is for one person and the other is for another person with multiple distinguishing data fields (taxpayer/spouse, social security numbers, account numbers from payor).  But, system still thinks that there are duplicates?  Makes no sense.
