Your answer is not accurate. My refund was rejected by my bank on 2/19/21, even though the IRS said it was deposited on February 22nd. As of today, April 9th, I still have not received my refund by papercheck. Today, which is April 9th, I finally received a letter from the IRS. Unfortunately, all it was was a letter (dated April 12th!!!) confirming my bank rejected it and that it would be another 3-4 weeks before I would receive a paper check. As of today, it has been 46 days. Calling the IRS, if you can even get through, was no help. They only confirmed that my refund had been returned and received and I was told to wait another 6-8 weeks.. Printing my transcript from IRS.gov was no help. That document said my refund would be mailed on April 1st. Where's My Refund was no help. It still indicated my check was deposited on February 22nd. All had inaccurate information that could not be relied on and appears not to be updated.
