I appreciate you repeating yourself throughout this thread however the IRS get my payment tool is in fact not updating with any information after the second attempt at depositing into a closed account. Moreover, if TurboTax had the correct updated information from the second check, why was that not supplied to the IRS for this third one. And again, why did they deposit a second time into a closed account. All that tells me is that there’s nothing but laziness and apathy throughout the IRS. When you say a few people were affected, sorry to say it’s more than a few people. And none of us can seem to get any answers. It would be one thing if the payment tool was actually updated like you’re saying, but it is not. And nobody will help.
