Is there any way for Turbo Tax to mistake that the IRS received and accepted a return? Or is it just absolute that if Turbo Tax indicated it was accepted by the IRS that the IRS genuinely got it.

I can fully understand that the IRS is the only party who can give updates or answers once it's in their hands. I just want to be sure that it really did make it to them, especially before getting caught in a phone hold hell with one of their 45 minute or 2 hour wait times on the phone. (Their Where's My Refund hotline at least is not a place that sticks you on hold or through a bunch of phone trees. But the hotline also only gives the same information as the website.  And so I know that any meaningful contact with them beyond the WMR site is going to require a long day of available time I prefer to avoid if there's any chance something is repairable on Turbo Tax's side, such as just ensuring that the IRS really did receive and accept the return.)
