Turbo Tax must have updated this option for this year because it did allow me to amend online and efile the updated tax return. I have received the following message from the IRS "Your amended federal tax return was accepted by the IRS." I guess I'll wait and see if both the original amount owed and additional amount owed from amended form are deducted on 4/15. If not, I'll submit the second amount by mail by May deadline.
