so I don't know why TURBOTAx can't find this ahit out and explain it to people but I'm just a self employed mother of 2 who found all this out within a week or so. Meanwhile these multimillion dollar companies are lying to us along with the IRS violating all our taxpayer rights. But hey we created this monster we fund it. Our returns were stuck in a massive glitch when we filed. They opened tax seasons and the IRS accepted all the returns at once causing their system to crash and send millions of returns to the ERS department for manual review. The Ers department couldn't hold that many returns so millions of us got flagged with a code status 900 which means unselected inventory awating transfer to ERS department. (Basicay stuck in limbo until another return is processed which normally takes 3 to 4 days and than another return can enter the ERS department.) yes it's a real thing it's the error resolution system not an actual department you can call! It wasn't set up to handle all those returns . This is because they have to be manually reviewed. That's why you'll see people slowly updating everyday and all week long. Once you get into the Ers department it takes about a week or two and you either get a letter from them asking for more info or explain changes to your refund. If you get a letter needing more info they put your return on a hold until you respond. The recovery rebate credit was screwed up by massive amounts of tax preparer this year. Including TURBOTAX They put the wrong amount on line 30 for millions of people making this shyt show just that much bigger. That and the unemployment adjustment that is needed for millions of return and the third stimulus bank info they had to go in and get off millions of returns. Basically when the IRS realized what happened at opening day of tax season. They decided to leave all our returns in the Error department or limbo before error department so that anyone with actual errors wouldn't get away with getting money they didn't earn so we are all suffering because they fvcked up. The phone reps can't help you. They see The same things you can see. If your return was accepted . What your return looks like and if the examiners (the people who manually review the returns and process them ) send out a letter needing more information. Or a refund date. So they can't do anything but tell you to wait. They don't know anything . If you don't have any errors you just have to wait. Unfortunately we are not allowed to call or talk to anyone who does the manual review of returns. They are like the head hunchos of the irs and don't deal with the actual people. Because you know we would be brining them to fix our shyt right about now 😂😂. Two weeks ago I had status 900 last wednesday it was gone and I moved into actual errors department. Now Thursday my wmr updated to TT 152 and my amount is gone and replaced with December 2020 end date. I should be getting a DDD soon. Everything is super behind but basically think of it as they didn't get to your return till a week ago 2 if your lucky. Your acceptance date isn't until you clear the ERS phase. Sorry but it's the truth. Stop doing facebook groups with morons who don't know what they're talking about. The irs lies. They have to lie they don't know what else to say.
