Currently the 1040X is expected to be available on 3/26/2021 for paper printing and e-filing.

We have no idea how long it will take to get your refund from an amended federal and state return.
IRS Is very busy right now with stimulus checks, processing 2020 returns, incorporating the American Pension Plan tax changes into the Internal Revenue Tax Code and into their systems. On top of that, they are still processing 2019 paper returns.
Generally it takes longer to process an amended return than it does to process the original return. It depends on if they have to take the time to look into anything on it. If it must be manually processed, then it will take twice as long.
