If you have already e-filed and your return has been accepted, you cannot change the date of your tax payment.
The payment of your tax due on your 2020 tax return, whether made before or on its due date now of May 17, 2021 cannot and will not affect your eligibility for the third stimulus or the receipt of the stimulus check.
