After you file
Thanks for your response. I tried the "Get My Payment" page but it doesn't accept my information. I've been moving quite frequently and the IRS had an old address on file when they were supposed to send the second/$600 stimulus payment. I actually received the first/$1,200 stimulus direct deposited into a bank account I used to have. But that bank account was closed before the second/$600 stimulus payments were being sent out. So I haven't received the second/$600 stimulus direct deposit, but earlier in the year when I checked the "Get My Payment" site (I used the old address the IRS had on file to log in that page) it said the check was sent out February 2nd. I went to the post office in January to have my mail forwarded to a new address yet I still haven't received the $600 one. So for this years tax returns I put my current address and my new direct deposit info. When I try to check the "Get My Payment" page now I put my current address yet it still doesn't work. I really need the IRS to send the stimulus as direct deposit. I just moved (same state) a couple weeks ago but haven't done mail forwarding with the post office yet for my current address. I have Chime Bank, I heard they arent sending the $1,400 til Wedbesday/tomorrow, my Federal return was accepted on Sunday the 14th. Shouldnt they be able to direct deposit it with the updated info they have?
