Similar question. We received a 1099-R marked for 2020 with code P in box 7 and other one with code 8 in box 7. Does that mean I have to amend both 2019 and 2018 taxes?
Also - There are state related values in boxes 14 (state tax withheld),15 (state payer state no) and 16 (state distribution) on the form. In the Turbo Tax 2019 software boxes 12-14 are for state data and boxes 15-17 for local information data. The data on the form does not align to the data in the software. Help!
