I found myself unemployed and in a real bind, so I took an advance on my tax return (not something I would typically do), huge mistake. It cost me $140 for $250 and I’m still waiting for my tax return! My only conclusion is , taking this advance has set back getting my refund even more, I filed 1/31, I know people that filed before and after that have received theirs already. It’s just a simple return - no obvious reason for it to be delayed. Biggest mistake I’ve made into 2021 this far. Yet again I sit here in a financial bind.. thanks turbo tax, IRS and our lovely government
