TT guarantees the accuracy of it calculations.  It does not (and cannot) guaranty a refund date, as only the IRS controls that.  TT refund dates are just estimates, based on the usual IRS goal of 21 days.  But it's taking longer this year.  The IRS is seriously backlogged, and is even still processing several million 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable. 

 

But if TT said your filing was Accepted for processing, then the IRS has it.  Once that happens, TT receives no further updates, See this:
