Okay thanks, Joanna!
Yes, I'm definitely always very honest when filling out the forms, it's just that the way it was presented in Turbo Tax made it seem like they were asking if my husband ever uses my car for his personal use. In our situation, he uses his vehicle to drive for Instacart as well as for personal use and to drive to his primary job. I use my own car for my personal use, so I thought the answer to the question would be "no".
When I printed out the tax return and was reading through the forms before I put them away, I noticed the question is presented on the Schedule C more straightforward (not the TurboTax app). It simply asks if there's another vehicle that either me OR my spouse uses for personal use.
I'm worried because I always answer everything super straightforward.
The portion where it asks the total mileage driven using that vehicle for the year and then the actual mileage driven for the self employment job, I entered the exact amount driven for that job (Instacart) on line 44 (a).
