I have a quick question. I finished the tax return on Feb 18 2021 via Turbo Tax for 2020 online.
Before e filing, I logged into the free tax filing site from the IRS https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/browse-all-offers as I was unemployed during 2020 and I got advice from the Unemployment advisor I could have submitted the free submitting program. After logging into Turbo tax with this site, Turbo tax changed my tax return to an amended report and I couldn't submit with using E filing but Turbo tax advised me to send it by mail offline. So I sent it to IRS and my state via USPS. As it has not passed 6 weeks, I don't have any feedback yet and cannot track the process but I want to know if my amended tax filing would have no problem or not. I just wondered what was amended from my original tax return when I tried to use the free tax filing site. Could you let me know where I can contact to ask this question and if my tax return has been successfully done via Turbo Tax and I will not have any issue getting the tax transcript from IRS and the state?
