My spouse and I filed jointly. I am the first listed taxpayer. I made four estimated tax payments via "Direct Pay". For one of them I inadvertently used my spouse's SSN (it was for her income distribution).
Will the IRS match the estimated tax payment made with my spouse's SSN to our joint return? If not, should I contact the IRS?
