Irs sent me a letter asking me to verify my identity after filing 2020 with $0 income but need the recovery rebate . Started the process online at irs site but then was stopped and told to call because they said the last 4 digits of the bank account I entered on my return didn't match their records. I entered my correct bank account number though? I choose to have the fees taken from my return to pay turbo tax? Could that be why? Does it go to their bank first and they are want the last 4 digits of their account? My account number is on the return I downloaded? Now I have to call them which will be a nightmare. Please help? I just want the 2 stimulus money I never received. My boyfriend did not claim me on 2020 taxes but did in 2019. I am now able to receive because no one claimed me . I'm on SSID and don't get much as it is
