Refund for Deluxe edition refused
This is the last year I will be using TurboTax. When Filing my taxes I mistakenly added contributions to my IRA for 2020 when I actually put them in 2021. Before I realized this, TurboTax made me pay $80 for the "Deluxe" add-on before I could even file. I caught this before I filed and changed my contribution year. Since this was the only reason I needed "Deluxe" I went to request a refund. Apparently, refunds aren't granted for anyone who uses the online version of the software, even if you didn't even use the add-on service! $80 for a typo, thanks for swindling me, TurboTax.
(This is after I had a ton of trouble with the various software glitches involving the 1099 that I didn't even have [see https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/1099-nec-for-spouse-software-glitch-i-am-single-a... ], which took weeks to resolve)
