As long as you have not submitted your return, you can edit your state entry by following the directions below:
- Open your return if it's not already open.
- On the Tax Home screen with the amount of your refund and status, scroll down and select Add a State (don't worry, we're not adding a state) to access your tax forms and worksheets
Upon gaining entry into the return, choose the section that you need to change. You can also use the Search tool at the top right corner to search for the exact item that needs correcting.
