After you file
Not an expert, but I've been through this process now on two threads on this site, and finally had success, likely due to a change that TT made to their return processing software. I'm talking about the "form 1116 issue." I had previously followed the conversation around a problem that was holding up CA filers. That lasted several days.
In both of these cases, users had submitted their returns and they were in a Pending state. In this state, there is nothing much to do but complain about it, and hope that the TT team figures out what is causing the returns to get stuck at Pending. When they figure out and solve the problem on their side, they will reject the return, and you will get an email saying that the return is Rejected. At that point, you will receive some information about how to "fix" the return and resubmit it.
In the two cases I have seen, there really didn't seem to be anything to "fix" in the returns; likely, TT fixed something on their end. But the returns had to be rejected and resubmitted.
Here is the page that a TT Expert provided with information about the Pending status.
I feel for you, as I have been there. If I have misread your situation, please forgive me. Only tying to help.
