After you file
Efiled federal and Massachusetts on Sunday Feb 14th.
Pending federal and pending Massachusetts since then.
[More than 7 days have elapsed now with NO email from TT and NO indication of Received by IRS.]
Never got any email from TurboTax indicating file was sent to IRS.
On Friday Feb 19th something happened: My status went from Pending to Pending.
Customer service reps give conflicting answers, suggesting it's ready to be transmitted or it's been sent to IRS but not received by them yet. I'm not confident it actually has been sent to IRS and it's a waste of time talking to IRS if they never received anything.
In case it matters my filing does have Form 1116 in it. Also, was asked to use my driver's license info rather than AGI during one verification step.
I don't want to print my filing out and mail or use another e-filing service while stuck in this limbo, because if logjam is resolved there could be further confusion with a superseding return.
It is seeming like there really is a bottleneck on TurboTax's end and we are left with no steps to take, which is anxiety provoking and really inexcusable customer service. Boilerplate responses in the forums about what "pending" means, and how to "check your refund status" are not helpful to me or others stuck in this situation.
