My CA state tax is stuck in a pending status. Having reviewed the hard copy of the federal and state forms, there appears to be a system glitch.
Form 1040 Part II Adjustments to Income - Line 22 = $0
Form 540 Line Section C – Adjustments to Income from federal Schedule 1 (Form 1040) is pulling in a dollar amount of $300 from Line 22 of Form 1040 to Line 22 of Form 540
If there is a $0 amount on the federal form, should a $0 amount pull into the state form? Where is the $300 pulling from? Would this be the reason why the taxes have not transmitted to the FTB?

I would also like to add that prior to submitting my documents. The state Form 540 would not cycle through the review process It keep pointing to form 2106. It wanted me to review. The form had nothing to do with my tax situation. I logged on to a few communities and learned that others were having the same issue with the mentioned form causing folks not to be able to cycle through review. I deleted the form and was able to cycle through.
So, I believe there is something wrong with the coding and forms in the Turbo tax site. This along with what I mentioned have nothing to do with the consumer. It is all Turbo tax.
2/18 - Email to Turbo Tax
Hello:
There appears to be a glitch in the Turbo Tax online site software. This is not an isolated issue as users across the country are reporting impacts.
My CA State Taxes have been pending for a week. I'm confident that it is a glitch on Turbo Tax part (see the attached). I recently visited the Turbo tax community and noticed that Turbo tax is not taking ownership of this issue and has released two statements placing blame on the consume which is not fair.
When will the issue be addressed and resolved?
