It still should not take 5 days with servers working 24/7 as this is not processing. All this is is one server fetching data from another server and then saying hey I received all the data you sent me in the correct format. I am sorry but I have e-filed with Turbo Tax for over 20 years and I have filed in mid-January before when e-filing didn't open until the first week of February and my return was still accepted the day e-filing was opened. There is clearly an issue here and neither side wants to recognize it. And to tell a taxpayer to wait 21 DAYS for their return to even be transmitted to the IRS when other people's returns are being transmitted in a matter of hours without even scratching your head to say hey something is amiss here? I just want one of the sides to own up to the issue. I am not even as much concerned about my refund as I have a reason I need to file my taxes early and if this cause a problem I will be raising the issue further.
