I filed my 2020 taxes via a free online service, and accidentally said that I could not be claimed as a dependent. Now my father is unable to claim me on his taxes, or file as head of house hold.
Is there a way to correct this in a timely manner? I know that I could amend my return, but it seems that would take a while and I'm not sure that it would be resolved soon enough to affect his 2020 return.
