No, you should receive credit for the payment that was never received. You are entitled to it. Go back into your return and claim your Rebate Recovery Credit.
- Log into turbo tax
- Click on Federal Review
- Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount>continue
- Next screen asks Did you get a stimulus payment? Yes
- Then a drop down will appear and this is where you enter your first and second round stimulus payments. If you receive the first round, you will record $1200. For the second round, you will put 0.
- The next screen will inform you you just received a $600 credit.
