Thanks for your response. I actually do understand red forms. I had already purchased them from Office Depot. The IRS specifically states that you must use the red forms so that they can be scanned or be subject to penalty. It certainly appears that there are no options to print the 1099-NEC and 1096 forms on the IRS preprinted forms within TT. I finally got to the QEF and filed electronically. Not what is was looking for but it worked. Was not happy about having to re-type all my information into QEF. Double work is never productive.
