The status of my federal return says accepted and I have an estimated refund date. But I got a letter from the IRS requesting additional documents. Is this normal?

The requested documents include 2 pages of my return, amounts and dates of all estimated tax payments I made for this tax year, supporting documents verifying income and withholding.
