When you file your personal tax return using TurboTax, there will be a question that comes up early in the process to ask if you if someone else can claim you as a dependent on their return and whether they did claim you as a dependent. If the answer to both of those question is 'no', then you will be filing a tax return of your own without having been claimed.
If you are eligible to be claimed by someone else, such as a parent, then you may wish to discuss this with them before filing your return to be sure that you will not be claimed later.
