After you file
TurboTax does not have the ability to distribute any funds as we do not receive them.
We are aware that a number of our customers were affected by a processing error that occurred during the distribution of the second round of payments. We worked closely with the IRS to ensure that data was available for attempts to redeliver some payments.
At this time, the IRS has stopped any attempts to reissue payments or mail checks in lieu of deposits. You can read more about this here: IRS Statement about Second Economic Impact Payment.
If you have not received your payment by January 15, 2021, then you will claim your credit when you file your tax return.
Please allow a few days after the 15th for the mailing of any check or debit card issued by the IRS.
