I really hope the IRS updates their site stating that you have to claim on your return for 2020 taxes. They should fix this error asap! This is affecting over 14 million people. I wish the IRS would update, now I am locked out of my account to check status on my payment and can't check again for 24 hours. This is beyond frustrating for people who desperately needed this money.
