I had no luck contacting the IRS over the phone but I did finally get through to TurboTax after a 3-hour hold call backin my first question was why does it stay on the IRS website that the status on my payment is unavailable and she immediately said well that's not our question that's an IRS question I said okay then can you please explain to me why I'm reading all these problems with TurboTax customers that paid their tax preparation fees out of refund that the amounts were going to an unknown bank account which was the turbotaxes? And I was immediately hung up on! I have had same bank account forever now and the $1,200 was direct deposited into that account now no one will answer on where this money is and I needed it months ago so good luck cuz I've had none! 😢
