That's false. According to the IRS and hr block rep I spoke with, they have till the date on the transcript to send it out. Which makes more sense. I looked back on my old transcripts from previous years and I've always had it on or before that Date. If you don't have your refund or a new code by then, I would request a tax advocate if possible. 2016 I had to do that because the irs gave me the run around and I was already pushing end of July. Soon as I got a advocate involved, I had it two weeks later. It seems like the irs is trying to hold everybody's money this year according to a tax group I follow on Facebook.
