You have given me a lot to think about and work with - EXCEPT I just can figure out where those phantom entries on the 1040-X are coming from.
Yes, I am afraid I am into just over-riding some entries on the 1040-X and going with that - unless someone at TurboTax stumbles over solution.
I note that this is not a universal problem or pepple would be coming out of the woodworkks, let I and another user have the identical problem - so it must just be something peculiar with our returns.
