In step-by-step mode TT asks if it's for taxpayer or spouse so the correct TAXPAYER must be selected. in forms mode the default for all is the first taxpayer listed on page 1. there is an item at the top of the W-2 to indicate it's for the spouse. since the error is due to your incorrect input TT accuracy guarantee doesn't apply.
