I received a letter from New York which states they need additional information about the credit claimed on Form IT-226, Employer Compensation Expense Program Wage Credit for 2019. My question to TURBOTAX is how and why this form was generated in the first place. I did not fill out this form, and am not happy that looking through my return I still cannot figure out how this was generated and why? Plus, I have been using TURBOTAX for years but there is no way to actually speak to someone at TURBOTAX without paying additionally for support. I need an answer ASAP, and I can tell you unless I get an explanation that can get this NYS situation corrected I will never use TURBOTAX again.
