I've been a tax preparer for several years now and find TurboTax to be a bit complex when it comes to submitting amendments, however, if you look just below the part which says "your tax returns & documents" (midway down the page) the current year should list options to "Amend (change) returns"....pick that option and then remove from your personal information your dependent.
