It's difficult to comment since you didn't describe your issue or what product you are using. Are you using desktop software (CD/download) or Online TurboTax?
To get help in a user community forum, you need to first fully describe your error message in detail and what product platform you are using. There are a couple of possibilities peculiar to foreign filing that might be at play. But we don't know what you are referring to. Here are a couple of common examples:
Are you by any chance getting this error message?
601ERRV:5, CustHdr_17 - ?:? - Invalid SMS Number. Must be between 10 and 10 digits.
If so, we can tell you the workaround. In fact, I already provided the workaround for that error code higher up in this thread. So if that's your error, you can scroll up in this thread for info on how to fix it.
Or do you have a zero-income return due to the foreign earned income exclusion? If so, we can tell you a workaround.
If neither of those is your issue, then you need to provide some information about what you are experiencing. If it turns out you need to speak to Customer Support, are you able to phone 800 numbers in the USA from your location? If not, we can tell you how to message them through Facebook/Twitter.
