Called IRS systemic tax advocacy service and their official response is that nobody else has reported having this issue and, therefore, it is not relevant. Also, fyi, transcripts or mailed codes will not be processed until the IRS is fully reopened. Effectively, the online portal is the ONLY way to get tax transcripts at the moment.

 

Please call the systemic tax advocates office and let them know that you're not alone.
