what needs fixing? an amended return needs to be mailed but the IRS is not currently processing such returns. In addition, such returns should not be filed until the original return is fully processed - refund received or payment cashed. filing an amended return for something like bad bank info will probably do no good because the IRS would send the payment to the bank a/c specified and if it's bad mail you a refund check for which you can expect a long wait.
