If you had tax due for tax year 2018, TurboTax would not know whether you had actually paid them or not unless you have chosen to pay your tax due by direct debit or by credit card, in which case this would be indicated on the copy of your 2018 tax return.
If you may have paid your tax due by check, you'll have to rely on your own records. You can through your check copies or your bank statements.
